This past weekend the Fort Dodge Police Department was called to 504 N. 3rd Street after receiving a report of an assault. At around 4:40 A.M. Saturday, police found a 71-year-old woman who had been stabbed and cut by a knife. 37-year-old Reino Bodaddy was charged with attempted murder, which is a class B felony, and he’s now being held at the Webster County Jail. The victim of the assault was taken to Trinity Regional Medical Center with severe, but not life-threatening injuries.
