Two nights ago on Wednesday, a 911 call was placed from the Casey’s General Store
located on North 15th Street. According to a press release from the
police department, the caller immediately hung up before it could be
answered, so police decided to follow up on the call. After arriving
on the scene, the police discovered that a robbery had taken place.
Police also claim the suspect was dressed wearing dark clothes and
showed the clerk he had a handgun. After receiving the undisclosed
amount of cash from the register, the suspect fled the scene. The Fort
Dodge Police Department is asking anyone who knows any information
about the crime, to contact them.
