The caped crusader has had it rough over the years, as different interpretations of Gotham’s Knight have changed the public perspective of the character. From silly and campy to a slightly darker tone to realism to overly dark, it’s time to answer the question if director Matt Reeves “the Batman” film can finally come to a good balance of tone and nail home the ideals of the character Bruce Wayne. As Robert Pattinson dawns the mask in this latest installment in DC’s next big comic book flick, the marketing seems to be promising a bright future for this film and the hype has been surely building up since the trailer release in 2020. The Batman hits theaters March 4, 2022.
