This past Monday, St. Cloud State Men’s Swim & Diving sophomore Raf Hendriks, captured his second conference title. Raf won the 200-yard backstroke, which set a pool record on the final day of competition at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference Championships in Saginaw, Mich.
It was one of five top-eight finishes for the Huskies, who finished fourth in the conference meet. The fourth place finish for the Huskies this year, improved one spot from it’s fifth place finish in 2021. Now the Husky men just wait for the announcement of the field for the 2022 NCAA Swim and Dive Championships, which will take place March 9-12 in Greensboro, N.C.
We want to wish good luck to the former Triton, now St. Cloud swimmer; Tjeerd Van Stein as he competes in the 200 medley relay and the 200 freestyle relay for the Huskies.
